May DV Awareness

HCM LEGAL are proud to be partnered with the JDE foundation and its supporters in the May DV Awareness and Prevention to support women experiencing domestic violence across Australia and mainly in Qld.

As a firm that is providing domestic violence duty lawyer services in most magistrates courts around the Brisbane area, we see and come face to face with people who deal with domestic violence all the time and it is for this reason that this year we decided to join many other organisations across the country this month is raising awareness and speaking up against domestic violence.

We are providing free legal domestic violence advice to 10 women this month. This will come with a care package from Cenote Casa bathhouse with a two-hour spa treatment & facial, and the choice to pick an inspirational book with a reading group .

If you know anyone in need of legal advice, some pampering and inspiration, please email us or contact us via the jdefoundation and someone will be in contact with you.

Domestic Violence is not only physical abuse, it can also be emotional and psychological. It constitutes sexual assault, making threats, insults, put-downs, controlling who they see and what they do, controlling money etc

If in need, contact the authorities. Talk to a professional and seek the help. Say no to domestic violence.
